B'Cubs® Peanut Wings: Crispy Wings Three Ways

B'Cubs® Peanut Wings: Crispy Wings Three Ways

When you want wings with serious flavor, skip the complicated sauces and reach for B'Cubs® Voodoo Peanut Sauce. These crispy wings work with three different cooking methods—air fryer, oven, or deep fryer—so you can make them however you prefer. The wings get perfectly crispy on their own, then you toss them in our peanut sauce for a bold, nutty finish that beats any buffalo wing.

Choose your heat level with Mild, Medium (Original), or Hot B'Cubs® Voodoo Peanut Sauce, and pick your cooking method based on what equipment you have and how much time you want to spend in the kitchen.

B'Cubs® Peanut Wings

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Oil for frying (if using fried method)
  • B'Cubs® Voodoo Peanut Sauce for tossing or dipping

Preparation (for all methods):

Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels—this is key for getting them crispy. In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.

Method 1: Air Fryer (Easiest)

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F.
  2. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the basket. Work in batches if needed—don't overcrowd them.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes, then flip the wings.
  4. Cook for another 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Method 2: Baked (Hands-Off)

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F with the rack positioned in the upper third.
  2. Place the wings on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they're golden and crispy.
  4. For extra crispiness, turn on the broiler and broil for 2-3 minutes at the end. Watch them closely so they don't burn.

Method 3: Fried (Classic Crispy)

  1. Heat 2-3 inches of oil to 375°F in a heavy pot or deep fryer.
  2. Fry the wings in batches—don't crowd the pot—for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Drain the wings on paper towels.
  4. Let them rest for 5 minutes before tossing with sauce.

Serving:

Toss the hot wings with B'Cubs® Voodoo Peanut Sauce in a large bowl until well coated, or serve the sauce on the side for dipping. Choose your heat level—Mild for a gentle kick, Medium (Original) for balanced heat, or Hot if you want it spicy.

These wings show how versatile B'Cubs® Voodoo Peanut Sauce can be. Whether you're cooking for game day, a weeknight dinner, or a backyard gathering, you've got three reliable methods that all deliver crispy, flavorful wings without the fuss.
